Stay Organised!

As going back to school creeps around the corner, I thought I would share some tips to help you stay organised with the new school year upon us!

Whether you're starting a new school or just moving up a year, going back to school can be tough for all of us. The last thing you want to think about is being organised. But hopefully these tips, all of which I can recommend, will help you become more organised (if you want to!).

School usually comes with lots and lots of homework. When I have a lot of homework on top of coursework and other important things, I swear by lists to keep me sane. Writing down everything you need to do will help to clear your mind but also make you realise how much you have to do!
However, ticking off things on a list can be so satisfying and it'll make you look differently at your jobs.

Organisers, diaries, notebooks. All come in various shapes, sizes, styles and designs but I find that something I like the look of, I want to use. My weekly organiser which I got from 'The Works' helps me to stay organised as I can jot down anything that's happening that week and plan my 'to-dos' around them. The sticky notes are also good as reminders and it has a list-pad which makes it even better in my opinion!

Whiteboards are also really good as a way of noting down 'to-dos' or using to make lists. It is also really satisfying when you wipe the jobs away once they are completed!

My final tip would be to become friends with a timetable. These helped me lot especially when I was revising for exams and preparing for mock exams too. You can make them by hand or on a computer. Either way, leave a lot of room as you may have more work to do than you thought.

I hope these tips will help you if you are going back to school or you just want to organise your life a bit better. Thank you for reading and leave me a comment below if you have any tips that you'd like to share! :)
